About us

Studio E is an artist-run organization initiated in 1993 by Junko Ueda (Japan) and Wil Offermans (Holland) with its original base in Amsterdam. Their activities focus on contemporary as well as Japanese traditional music and include the sales of their recordings and publications, as well as the organizing and promotion of their concerts and other musical and intercultural activities in both the performing and the educational fields. In 1998 Studio E opened their Studio E Online Shop at www.studio-e.nl. In 2003 Studio E created a working space in Granada. In 2011 they moved Studio E over to this Granada location. At that time Studio E Online Shop upgraded their website at the new address: www.studioe-mc.com.
